It takes time and patience trust me lol, To be honest I haven't had a SINGLE job in a week because my postcards haven't come in yet. But this gives me time to get everything finished, set up, and looking nice. And btw i'm honored to be an inspiration. Just pinch pennies for awhile & you'll
be surprised! (my 2c ... pun? maybe :D )

Yes it was very grueling work getting everything done, lots of sleepless nights, but in the end very much worth it. Thank you and I hope you persue whatever it is you really want deep down inside!

See if they will let you put a tent sign on the sidewalk/road right of way and open the door and do your car. It'll draw some interest and eyeball
 
Just thought i'd do another update, got a few boxes of stuff in today as well as as my banner from Chris @ Optimum. & my service posters, window decal, flyers, pens, & so on. Oh, and can't forget the 1Z banner (friggin sweet). Here's a few pics from today, ill update later when everything is up on the wall :)




Got this on the "Maxx is gone AG sale" intend to resale as well as compare diablo wheel cleaner gel to a couple others

 
Just finished up my first Opti-Guard install since being in the shop, the customer was very pleased :) Updated pics of the shop to come here in about an hour or less!

Your shop looks great. It's neat and clean and customers should feel confident you'll do a good job for them. First impressions are important.

I'm glad you asked... Believe it or not..

I put this sign out by the Marque after waiting 2 weeks to get it... 3 hours later someone stole it in broad ass daylight... LIKE WTF? Lol, seriously some people..

 
Very nice my friend! And very inspirational to me, i am buying all my stuff to start my Mobile business as we speak. Maybe i can one day open a shop as well.
 
^ Agreed. Very inspirational. I've been stocking up on supplies for my mobile business (part time) for the last month and I'm ready to get going! Already have a full time job that serves as 2 full time jobs so this will be very part time on the weekends for now. My mind is already going and going thinking about owning a shop and making it a full time business!

not surprised at all..my friend just reopened his liquor shop in kyle and he had a "now open" sign with his business name on it and we lost it last week. turns out we have the teenager kids on video but cannot make out their face


now my question is..wth are these kids gonna do with a liquor store now open sign and an auto detailing sign (unless they're on to something we dont know)...some people

btw, really like the product selection for sale--i know where im going if i need something in a pinch :)
 
Just thought i'd update since i'm in my 7th month of business at a "brick n mortor" location. Since last update, believe it or not.. I MOVED! Same business park, but to a unit on the end. During the summer the temps in my shop were reaching up to 117`F & ruined quite a few of my supplies so I was at my wits end. Talked to the Manager of the units and he agreed to let me move to a different one at no charge!
Took about a month to get the new building up to par (was trashed to say the least from previous tenant) after each day I closed I would go over to other unit & work for another 4-5 hours.

Got BioFoam in there to insulate the building at a reasonable price & now things are 100X better. Also since I'm on the end, I now have AC in the garage for next summer! Phew..



 
Wow your shop looks great! You give me some inspiration:bigups I want to open a shop up but I live in the tri-state NYC and leases around here are $$$$. I've thought about starting somewhere new just for that reason. Its not exactly an area favorable for someone small starting out.
