Tractor Detailer
Many of you know me as the resident "tractor" detailer. I have always done farm tractors, but these are the first pulling tractors I have done.

Now, these are not your normal farm tractors. These are designed for tractor pulling. They have a 300' run to pull a 40,000-50,000lb weight transfer sled down the track. Farthest to pull wins. These tractors left the factory as inline 414ci 6cyl turbo diesels designed to turn 125-135hp. Now they sit at 640ci turbo diesels designed to turn upwards of 1300+ hp...on normal #2 highway diesel. The upgraded displacement and turbo system brings in the high horsepower. The wheel speed on these tractors when they are pulling can be over 100mph.

Here is a video of the "Movin Dirt" tractor (driven by a girl).

Either way, on to the detail. Honestly, there was not much to it. They already had them washed and they were in great shape. I had to polish the metal with Zephyr, and the paint was done with EZ Creme Glaze and Opti-Seal. Tires dressed with Majestic Poly Pro.

Thanks for looking!

^Great vid.

Warning - Boring fact coming. The tractors in my profile run in the "Super Farm" class. The tractor must appear factory, and must use the factory engine block. They can have one turbo and must run on diesel. Most make between 1200-1400hp. The tractor in your vid runs in the "Super Stock" class. The tractor must appear semi-factory, but can use any engine block. They can have up to 4 turbos and can run on alcohol or diesel. Most make 2500hp...although some can make up to 5000hp with a V8 Quad-Turbo diesel.

Having grown up driving a 1066, 1086, & 1486 almost daily throughout the summers, that is the sweetest thing I've seen in quite some time. Thanks for sharing! It's been way too long since I've been to a tractor or truck pull.
