Show Stopper Products

Just saw their products in a shop recently, and really don't know much about them. In fact, that was about all the shop had was their line, and a few other items.

Just curious if anyone knows much about them.

Thanks.

The only things I know about them.

1. They have a web-site
Show Stopper Wax.com

2. They make "America's Finest Wax". It says so on their web-site so it must be true. :)

3. I was glad to hear that their wax was "America's Finest" because I was becoming somewhat confused. I thought I had read tha Zymol was the finest, then I read that Zaino was the finest, then I read that Duragloss was the finest, then I read that FK was the finest, then it was Souveran, then it was........
Finally, they have cleared it up for me. :)

The web site states that it has only been available to dealers for the past 25 years. I guess that explains why I have never heard of it.
I think Charles should buy some and do a review of it so the rest of us will know if this really is a show stopper wax.

Well I guess my results with my 'second and lower class' products used with this vehicle show far from good results well because I didn't use the best  !

IMO there is no best of anything. Of course the Show Stopper company is going to market their products as 'the best' but whether that is true or not is up to the people who have used it. Every company does it in one way or another. If they can't persuade people to buy their products then their business won't be around for long.

I believe that a lot of (if not most) car products on the market today will produce good results. Sure Mother's Cleaner wax won't look like a fully polished car topped with a sealant but the results will be there. But if you polish the car up completly and then top with the Mother's cleaner wax I bet the shine will be very nice. Most of the looks come from prep. not the LSP.

IMO if you want the best get Zaino. Other good stuff exists but it's all second class or lower

EGAD.......Here's one I did yesterday with low class products. Your comment is absurd sir.

Sure you can get good results-even great results with other products. THEY JUST DON'T LAST. Zaino and Duragloss products are the 2 longest lasting products I've used. And I've used NXT, #26, Poorboys EX, Glare and Collinite 845. From my experience with vehicles outside 24/7 and living near a coal plant that rains dirt on my vehicles Zaino has performed the most consistantly.

Ahhh, now that you've explained the why and how of things your comments make more sense although some may still disagree. I've not used either one so I cannot comment on their durability.

To take it further. I was using a non cleaning "typical polymer sealant" on my mom's car. The product had been on the paint for about a month. I applied by hand another layer of the same product. The hand applicator was pretty black from the dirt that didn't wash away(in otherwords it stuck to the sealant). I was absolutely shocked. Zaino on my car in the same driveway washes cleaner and applying another coat results in a practically clean applicator. That's a visual verification that Zaino outperforms other products- and then there's the legendary beading charactaristics:)

Just to chime in here... Let's not get to far off topic with this thread. It seems to be morphing into product slurs and testimonials.

My reply, as with most others in this thread, was made in jest with regards to the original poster's inquiry of product info. Lets not take this thread down the road we've seen many times before.

Thanks. Hope I'm not out of line here.

You're not. I apologize for being part in leading the posts off topic.....an error I won't repeat.

Anybody know what happened to DuPonts Rain Dance? I sure miss the upper body work out you use to get from that stuff. I looked like I had muscles back in the day!
