Show season is here, Who else is gettin ready?

I just saw the post that some of our own won at shows this weekend,(good job guys) :up made me wonder who else is gettin ready for the season>?



I have been working on the SS now and then but it has been so darn hot here! Tonight it is 66 out, nice in the garage! So I am out in the garage working on the engine compartment while it is cool out. first show for me is next Sunday.

PS yes I know I posted this at almost 1am, no rest for the wicked:nono
 
I'm there with you Redcarguy. I have a bunch of shows coming up. I was out in the garage yesterday crawling underneath the car detailing the suspension and undercarriage...:up
 
I really want to go to some shows this year... (haven't gone before) but i don't think my car would handle it.... very few shows where a new import would fit in, plus even though i can make my car shine, there are several dents and chips that i can't do anything with. I needa find me a old car in good condition i can show... or at least get one of the people i know with one to let me 'adopt' theirs and enter it. (guy across the street has a restored 68 malibu with a 6k paint job (what he paid... still really cheap since my nextdoor neibor did it for him... took almost a year).. maybe he'd let me help him out.. he already shows it, but it has swirlls...).
