Show Quality 2006 Corvette (33 Pics)

I have hear that it was the only car there done to autopian standards and that the demonstrations where terrible.

This doesn't suprise me.

I think its great that it takes an autopian (and judging by the other autopian's work I have seen personally, your work is much better) to show autogeek how to do it.

Way to represent!

Excellent work on such difficult paint. I know those pics just don't do the shine justice.

Are you sure the paint was finiky? or was the mf towels possibly leaving marks due to the amounts of polishes on the car? I know Menz will leave a wax residue behind that is difficult to spot until it thoroughly dries and then you wipe it again and it can look like marks being wiped into the clear when it's really just the wax residue.

Again, great work.:bigups

The Z06 looks great. Amazing dedication and outcome. Is it just the pictures or did the hood stripes change color? They seem to have green hue to them in the first shots and just red at the end. *edit* ok, I am officially a moron. It's the tap to mask off the sticker. Car looks great.

I don't think it's a Z, just the rims.... fyi.

Yep, Menz will leave marks that look like swirls or straight line marring that will wipe off very easiy.

Yes, and to add, most of the time that same wax residue will get onto the MF towel and can leave streaks behind on a fresh panel so you have to watch it closely. I typically use one MF to wipe the Menz off and then another fresh clean and non-residue filled MF to wipe the panel off a second time to ensure all the residue is eliminated....:faint:

It's really not that much more work at all, just a couple wipe down is all.:bigups
