We have been discussing waxes again so I thought it would be nice to see what waxes Autopians are hoarding.

great coolection RLM,,I am curious about the gingerbread man wax,,does it smell like gingerbread?

I don`t really have anything other than some Megs stuff and run of the mill dealership waxes but I`ll take a picture Monday when I get to work.
I do have a can of this ,,I think it`s from the late 60`s but it`s not all dried out so I would think it`s still good to use.

not my can but one identical

The Gingerbread one does smell like gingerbread, very nice. AG gave out three as specials at Christmas 5 or so years ago. The third one was Rudolph. I never could get it. I wound up with two Grinchwaxs. It reminded of Blackfires wax, except green. Anyone want to sell me some Rudolphwax? I believe they were made by Son1c. I wish he was still around as he had a great deal on knowledge about wax and waxmaking. He sent me a bunch of prototype waxes to test and some were very good. One was chocolate, but the smell wasn’t quite right, tooo chocolaty.

Here is mine after a year of this. I had to clean up the garage and try and make it easier to access the detailing gear. We made a small amount of progress

@ Mary B - What are your thoughts, likes/dislikes with the Waxaddict line? I’ve always wanted to give em a whirl but never pulled the trigger.

Please pardon my ignorance, but do the waxes have specific purposes like specific colors or paint or, or different types of paint or do guys just buy one then find something else that may be better and just keeping going. I have only used 1 wax ever because it`s what I got in my car wash gift basket and I only really planned on buying 1 maybe 2 different waxes / sealants and just keep using that.

LGHT- To paraphrase what the PPG guy told Mike into something I can actually agree with: "find what you like (for whatever *your* reasons are) and use it as often as you oughta."

Some people are into waxes the way some people are into [whatever they are into].

No, not being critical at all...there`s a reason why I go by "Accumulator" :o
