Show Bike

While I have been detailing automobiles for a really long time, I had a husband approach me about detailing his "Show Bike". I had just finished his wife's white Tahoe, with navy leather interior, and it looked fabulous. His mouth dropped, got a $15 tip, and then he asked about doing his bike, I told him honestly that I had never done a bike before, I would check around and get back with him. I looked at it and it looked really clean, but he wants it done by some time in Feb., he has a stand to put it on and everything. It is to be trailored down to Florida for Bike Week, and is a chromed out, custom built, painted, etc chopper type thing. I am obviously not up on my biker terms.....Help??

On the bikes I do I use Klasse AIO, SG and P21S. I got swamped with bikes this year. I use those on plastic fiberglass and metal painted materials.

I would use clay on the gas can and other primary painted metals. Klasse Aio works great on chrome and other polished metals, then put some SG on them. Tell them not to use cleaners after because it will just desolve them. All they have to do is a car soap and water. My secret (not really a secret) is buffing on the SG and leave it on for 24 hrs then buff off. Wait a day or before they leave and put a coat of P21S on. They will drop there jaws trust me. The paint will be as shiny as the chrome. I've done 14 bikes this year and only 5 cars. Bikers will do anything to have the best looking bike around where I live.

IMHO bikes are much more rewarding than autos. I 2nd Audipower's Klasse/P21S combo . . . super bright shine and durable. I also recommend using an air compressor after washing. Good luck :)

PS: $25/hour

i knew i should have taken a picture of the black harley i did... when u polish out all the chrome on a bike... and stand back to look @ it, ends up being pretty rewarding... especially after all the small details..
