Yes, just to wash out any possible lint. Also, if you got any darker colours like dark green or burgundy, the colour may bleed so wash them a few times til the bleeding stops. Use liquid, not powdered, detergent and don't wash them with any other items of clothing, sheets, etc. as they will attract all the lint from the other stuff. And remember no bleach or fabric softener.
