Should I use Clay and P21S back to back? Is it necessary?

Hey there again! Alright, so I finally have the chance in the next few weeks to clean my car. I'm about to order a bunch of stuff from autogeek/zaino, but I have a quick question....

Do I need to clay my car before or after the application of P21S Gloss enhancing paintwork cleanser?

Any ideas? Thanks for the info in advance!

nope, no polisher. barely any money either =[ That's why I was asking if I needed to clay. If I can save $20 by skipping out on the clay, unfortunately I would.

Both clean two different things.

A chemical cleaner won't remove everything that clay does and clay won't remove everything that a chemical cleaner will.

Go to autozone and get yourself a blue clay magic kit. Its like 10 bucks.

You mentioned Zaino...note that for Zaino to bond I'm pretty sure you'llhave to clean off what the P21S GEPC leaves behind. I'm not a big fan of the GEPC...there are other products I'd rather use, including Zaino's All-In-One.

Zaino also requires a basically perfect finish to look good, so unless you're planning on doing a lot of polishing you might want to look into a different approach.

+1

I was quite surprised how different my car looked with the Clay Magic clay kit and some Meguiar's Cleaner wax liquid. Both together were less than $20, if I remember correctly....
