Here are my thoughts on the new Poorboys Leather Stuff:
I tried the product on my Lexus coated leather after 2 months with a Z-9/Z-10 combo...
1. Cleaning power is decent but not quite as good as Z-9/Z-10 combo. It seemed to lift a decent amount of dirt however and is a 2 in 1 product so I think it is very good, especially since my seats don't get a ton of use.
2. Ease of application is very good. Just a little goes a long way and rubbing it in with the smoother side of a Mega Plush towel seemed to work well - a quality cotton or mf applicator pad may be even better.
3. Finish - love the look, a nice medium gloss and no slickness if properly buffed. Seats not very slippery at all
4. Smell - nice aloe like smell that has a hint of leather smell. Not as strong as Leather in a Bottle but very pleasant.
5. Packaging - good bottle with flip top which was easy to squeeze but the stuff is fairly thick and a little goes a long way.
6. Value - $15.95 for 16 ounces is okay but certainly not cheap. It is a boutique product.
I might keep the Zaino products at the top of the list and do a two step for dirtier jobs and annual cleaning but Leather Stuff seems a good choice for periodic cleaning.
Another winner from Steve and his team at Poorboys adding to a great line.
