Shop vac models???



Home depot has a 6.5 amp model on sale for 99$, is that enuff power? My 2.5 sucker just aint cutting the mustard. Or, do I upgrade to the 10.1 amp tornado model from shop vac? ANd should I get the rigid hose(did I just say rigid hose)?

i would get the ridgid wd4050 ($69.95 & the perfect size for detailing) as many on here have it with no complaints. i have a $50 gift card and we'll be using it towards that soon!

this the the vac that I have. 12 amps, 6.5 horsepower. Enough power to do ANYTHING that you want it to do. yes it is a little large, but it fits into the back of the tC, and that is by no means a big car. got it for 99 bucks @ sears.

Bought this one from home depot. Along with the detailing kit.

Was a little dissappointed with the hose though. Its a little flimsy. Oh well it'll keep me from going back and forth with the vac from one side of the car to the other.

For only $34.99 you can upgrade to this hose kit

The price of that hose kit is almost as much as the vacuum itself. That seems crazy.



If it is much better than the hose that's included you will have a nice vacuum for $100... that's not bad if you look at it that way.
