Shop done!

yup, roll up door. insulation helps out with the sun beating on it.//

Yeah, I bet! Even here in Ohio, you don`t want to touch my doors in the summer/winter. Or even get too close to `em.

..floor drain is in the middle, i try not to pressure wash with the garage door close... builds up too much humidity. but the water all slopes towards the center for most part.

Ah, OK..and yeah, I hear you on the humidity (my dehumidifier runs almost constantly even when I don`t wash).

Is your floordrain "sanitary" or "gray water"? I had to spend a bundle for EPA compliance setting it up for Sanitary.

Looks great. I am stealing your wall mount bracket idea for some lights on the side wall of my garage!

Can you tell me why you have an air filter taped to the utility cart?

...a polishing cart with a dust compound capturing filter. probably do a video on this later.

I`m looking forward to your vid...I think it`s a GREAT idea!

and yes...the shop looks awesome!

I like the fans.

How loud are they?

Do you think one would one be ok for a two car residential garage?

fans on high are pretty loud.. i keep them on low. i would definitely get 2 for a 2 car garage.

Looks great, Don! Congrats!!!

thanks rasky, was always inspired by your set up.

im slacking on this video.... the filter set up has definitely been working and helps cutting down dust. it is a bit more time consuming to point the polisher towards it and blowing but whatever it takes to cut down dust. will try to throw that video together soon.

added a few more things to the shop.. video for polishing cart/compound box up next

donbeezy- Ah, I like the stacked washer/dryer! That takes up far less floorspace than my setup.

Is that a HF underhood LED light or somebody else`s?

i wanted an all-in-one washer dryer but theyre expensiveeeeeeee. this stack set up has a small wash drum but i dont mind washing my towels often

yes, HF led light.... was using it for interior details so i can see in dark areas but its not that great. been using LED safety glasses instead

Same experience with it here, although it`s maybe, marginally, OK for my routine undercarriage cleaning (if not for really meticulous stuff). If getting wet kills it I won`t be heartbroken since it was so cheap, and there`s something to be said for a light I don`t have to care about.

This thread reminds me that I need to find a Sears store that`s still open as they owe me a new washer under my maintenance agreement (the `91 Kenmore finally died for good). Well, they owe me $400 towards a new one, we`ll see how far that goes.

You will bankrupt Sears for good if you’re able to redeem that!

Oh, just get me going...local Sears closed right before the washer died and the now-nearest (gotta do this in-person  ) is now a long ways from me, no idea how/when I`ll get there.
