Shiny interior (ugly)

Just recently bought black Acura Integra ’90 with black interior. Nice car and in pretty good shape, but dashboard, door panels and steering wheel must have a ton of ArmorAll or something similar. It shines like a dog’s balls.

Please, is there anything I can do to achieve that non-reflective look of a new car (like BMW dashboard...)?

Thank you in advance.

A dog's balls. Hmm - can't say that I have any idea what the interior of your car looks like, as I've never investigated the gloss-factor of a dog's balls. :p

Assuming that you're saying that the dash is too shiny, I'd use a very weak solution of dawn and water or some other weak all purpose cleaner.

If you use detergent like dawn use it really weak, I've found that warm water was enough to get the shine off a dash. Go back with 303 it has a nice matt finish.

Guys, thank you for input.

About dog's balls... It's a saying from where I came from (Sarajevo). However, I guess it has something to do with dogs licking their own balls...

:p

P.S.

I'll probably have more great (stupid) things like this in a future, so stay tuned!:xyxthumbs

Where in Jax are you? I was there from '98-'01. We lived off of Hwy 1 heading south to Ponte Vedra or St. Augustine. Nice town.

Is it the licking that causes the shine or removes it? If the later, just put a dog in the car for a couple hours. But, please be kind, crack the window.:D
