Shined up for new owner

I purchased two of the 16 ounce bottles and I had to wait to fill a backorder on one bottle plus another day so before I could get mad, CMA sent me two 33 ounce bottles and kept telling me how sorry they were, how could I get mad at them.



I use the PC for AIO as well as the Glaze, the pads; when first used will use alot of the product, once you get the pad saturated with the Klasse you won't use that much, heck, using this stuff even once a month, how the heck am I ever going to use up these bottles!



If anyone wants to test Klasse out I'd be happy to send em a sample enough to do thier car once with the AIO and 4-5 layers of Glaze. Just contact me and send me some tiny bottles.
 
I detailed my Nana's (Mom's mom) Lexus ES300 today. I really wanted to do a job that would last because I don't get the chance to do her car very often. I decided to use Klasse AIO with the PC on a white foam pad then I wanted to try something different from last time because last time I used the PC to apply the SG and even though I tried to put down thin coats it didn't work out that way. The SG ended up being to thick and it was a major PITA to wipe off.

This time I used a Viper MF applicator to apply the SG by hand and that made a <strong class='bbc'>huge[/b] differnce! The SG was so much easier to remove with my 3M MF Cloths this time because the coat of SG laid down by the Viper was much thinner than what I achieved using the grey foam PC applicator. I hope to get another shot at washing and applying a second coat of SG in about a month. That should do it for awhile since it is a garaged and infrequently used car. The shine was incredible and my Nana kept saying the paint looks new, it looks new! You know what? She was 100% correct that combination really worked fantastic.

Hmm I think I'll Klasse the minivan next this stuff is great! :bounce

Congrats with your success with Klasse. It really is an excellent system. For even better results, try layering on 3 coats minimum. This should blow you away a bit more.
 
This won't be a proper write-up; mostly just therapy for me, since I loved this car, but had to let it go. I left my job in April to try and do this full-time, which isn't working out as well as I'd hoped, plus, I just couldn't bring myself to abuse my CTS-V with the miles and hauling the stuff around. It has the space, but I didn't want to beat it up.
Anyway, here are a couple shots.
All this really is, is a single step w/Menz SIP using my new Flex w/LC Orange pads, and HD Autoglym wax by hand, done over 2 part-time days. Time (notably, me finding another daily driver for little $) didn't permit much else.
I'll miss her, but quite frankly, she couldn't have gone to a better home. They are a car couple who also have a 71 black Pantera (which he MIGHT let me get at...he likes to do his own detailing he said).
Forgive me, but the camera date isn't set. These were taken last week.

I don't know what's going on w/the pic sizes, sorry. I have them resized to the maximum 800x600, but for some reason, they're still coming up as small on here. Any advice?
 
Brad, what a beautiful car!! Nice job, however I'm sorry to hear that you had to part with her. I'm glad to hear that she went to a good home, however. Hopefully you'll get to see her from time to time, should you get to detail their other car.


CTS-V's are my new favorite cars!! Beautiful styling and great performance.

Bran, we all have cars that we love but in the end they are just that; a car. I have many fond memories of more cars than I care to remember and if I had them all I'd need a barn........Hmmmm, what a thought!!

Seriously though, the job came out great and in no time you'll have another....:thumbup:
 
Nice car indeed. I love the mess grille on those. I happen to love Panteras too..you just need to be very careful with the rear end on them. That's how Tim Horton died was in a Pantera. I hope its replacement makes you happy as well.
