Shelf Life of These Products ?

It's been a while since I gave any of my cars a good detailing. I now need to detail a car I'm going to sell.

I have some products that have been sitting around for about 3.5 - 4 years and I'm wondering if any of these products are still good.



Kept inside house

- P21S



Inside house then in Garage for one winter(mild) and one summer

- 303 Aerospace Protectant

- 3M Perfect It FPP Glaze SMR (39009) (* Never opened)

- Mothers Billet Metal Polish

- Zaino 10 - Leather in a Bottle

- Zaino Claybars (*)

- Zaino 7 - Car Wash (*)

- Zaino 5 - Polish (*)

- Zaino 6 - Detail spray(*)

- Zaino Zfx (*)



In garage 4 winters(mild) and 3 summers

- Zaino Z6 - Detail spray

- Zaino Z12 - Glass Polish

- 3M Perfect It FPP Glaze SMR (39009)





So are any of these still good?

Again, they've all been sitting for at least three and a half years.

You'll be fine with the exception of the ZFX, which may have hardened. People get way too agitated about shelf lives on everything today. Many of us have products we bought in the 70's and 80's which are still usable. You'll want to shake the polishes really well to get them mixed up.
 
I think there's a shelf life table on the Zaino site. (FAQ?) IIRC, most Z is 3 year, some is 5. But, as Setec said, stuff often lasts longer than "official" time frames, so if you know what it's supposed to work like, the best way to know if it's still good is to try it and see.

Mine ZFX lasted 20 months before I had to order more. Still have 2/3 bottle of Z2Pro and Z5 so probably another couple ZFX before I get though my first order of Z2Pro and Z5.
