Shelf Life of Pinnacle Souveran?

I need to order a new jar of Souveran and noticed that AutoGeek has a good sale on two jars! If kept refigerated what is shelf life of this product if not opened?
 
My guess would be several years. Between my car and my high end customer cars, I go through a jar in about a year.
 
I would also like to know if indoor at room temp or if refrigerated would be best. It's just about time to put the goodies away fro the weather and I want to be sure they are fine for next summer
 
I really don't know the answer but I keep all my products in my basement that has a 68 degree tempature.Im not big in putting my products in the fridge
 
My current jar is 2 years old. I keep it on a shelf in the garage. I ordered the 2fer95, and have no fear. It's car wax. Expensive car wax, but still car wax. Pretty stable stuff.



Beastie's right, the refrigerator will dehydrate it. It's a big dehumidifier.

Storage- a refrigerator will provide a cooler temperatures and more constant humidity that will slow the evaporation of solvents from the wax, thus keeping the wax softer and easier to use over a longer period of time.

If the wax is â€Ëœsealedâ€â„¢ in its container I donâ€â„¢t think it will dehydrate

I've kept my first jar of Souveran on a shelf in a spare bedroom for the last 18 months. House temperature is 72 degrees No problems.



I don't think the stuff will dehydrate because the is a rubber/plastic O-ring on the lid.

Yes, a refrigerator will give more constant humidity, but the percentage of humidity will generally be much lower. This is not a good thing, as it will be a very dry climate.



This is why people who put cigars in a refrigerator are actually doing the worst possible thing they could do to keep their cigars fresh. :nono

you don't keep it on your nightstand, next to your alarmclock?



I keep mine in my basement, always cool, always humid. I would think an unopened one would last for a long time. you can always try to vacuum pack an unopened can.
