Has anyone had great results in getting a sheating effect instead of beading. I know there are alot of "beading" fans out there but for the sake of clients who perfer their car to sheat water, what do you recommend and/or use?

Natty's sheets pretty well too. I put the hose to my car today and it wouldnt stay wet.

Now sheeting during washing is a whole other story and thread:lol

I thought polymer waxes / sealants gave a sheeting effect instead of beating but Steve didn't mention that . I always have natty's over my sealant so I don't know about PB's . I used some pinnacle poly about 5 years ago and it had that sheeting effect to it . some places on my vehicle the water would pool and just stay there . I didn't like that part about sheeting.

stluciedetail: Thank you...I've heard Natty's a great product as well.

Hawaiianelement: As well, Thank you for your input. I've used 4* UPP and seams to be pretty slick but then I apply TS or Pinnacle glaze and has great effects(mirror and wetness) but beads like a hundred drops....it actually stayed on the trunk of my car while it was fully opened without running down!!! Also, what part of the car were you refering to? Is that because of the design of the vehicle?

Poorboy: Thanks Steve. When you listed your suggestions is that as a topper or without a poly sealant?

Daniel I really can't tell you anything about the products i listed, that was just from doing some research on various forums and other people's opinions...

I can tell you Natty's beads very tight and nicely, but has the ability to resist spotting even if let to dry on a surface.:)

I agree about the beading of Nattys ...
I thought it was my imagination but this is what I have found ...
After a rain:
UPP and some other sealants leave very small beads and spots of dust after drying.
Nattys leaves a little larger bead but doesn't leave the spots of dust after drying which means that the vehicle looks cleaner after driving in rain.

Thanks Steve. I guess I should have did a little research myself. It may sound like a dumb question but what do you mean exactly when you say"but has the ability to resist spotting even if let to dry on a surface"

kimwallace: How many coats of wax did you place?

it's just like Kim said...it looks clean after driving through the rain, where many other products will leave the dirt or minerals after the drops dry...
