Since you like the higher end soaps..have you tried Ultima Paint Guard Wash or Prima Mystique? If so, what are your thoughts?

Have not tried Ultima, but I just finished a bottle of Mystique. Its nothing special IMO, I like 1z better. I just got a bottle of Optimum, so Im looking forward to using that.

Well, I'm out of my beloved Optimum, and have maybe a half small bottle of Griots left. I was grabbing some 223+ tape at carquest today and saw they had gallons of DG for $20, and Aquawax for like $7 so I picked some up. Hope its works better than it smells :-)

Majestic Solutions UltraGloss gets a lot of airtime on another forum. It's supposedly very similar to DG901, but I've never used the DG so I can't really say. UltraGloss is a pretty nice shampoo though, and made here in NC!:woot2:

I must say I'm a noob since I haven't the chance to use many of the more "boutique" wash.

I've used Meguiar's Deep Crystal wash and never followed the insurrections... Probably dumped 1/3rd of the bottle into a 2.5~3 gallon bucket. I've never found it to lack in lubricity like this tho :) and it has a okay smell to it. Its also readily available all over the USA pretty much and its cheap. Meguiar's Gold Class is also the same for me as Deep Crystal. I was a noob back than so I never followed the directions and used around 1/3rd the bottle. Cheap, find it anywhere, and the smell never bothered me.

Now that I have a bit of knowledge the I add about an ounce of ONR into my wash bucket. I've used it that way with Pinnacle XMT Gel and worked fine.

Jumped on the Dodo Juice BTBM fan club train, I haven't used it but from the reviews its a highly rated product.

Looks like Duragloss 901/902 and isn't Duragloss also located in NC?

Hmmmmm...

Jeff

I know it sounds fishy, but people CLAIM to have toured Majestic's facilities and that it's made on-site. I've never used the DG, but have seen it and they are eerily similar, but I wouldn't say they are the same. Plus the MG is cheaper, so I don't think a re-label would be cheaper than the original. But who knows for sure? :tape:

I have been to Majestic Solutions "showroom" (maybe 10x12 space) but never toured the building which is in an industrial area. Duragloss is in Burlington and when I asked to tour DG I was told no for confidentiality reasons.

Al, have you ever compared the two? I know you like trying different soaps so maybe you have some insight here.
