The Alcohol worked fine after about 10-15 rubs at each spot, and I just buffed out the rub marks today with no trouble. But all I ended up doing was making the craters look shiny. I'll give carb & choke cleaner a try on the rest of the sap.
I still need to know what would work for filling in these craters, other than wet sanding, and re-clear coating, which isn't really an option right now since i'll be selling the car soon.
