I was wanting to know what other service do you guys offer besides detailing, and mobile detailing. Example Dent removal, window repair, wheel repair, etc..

I would say do as much as you can effectively, yet dont over-expand!!!

"A jack of all trades is king of none!" - think about it!

sub contracting is your friend!

I see you're just starting off in your mobile buisness so just remember the acronym K.I.S.S. All three things you listed takes a long time to master and quite a bit of capital to get up and running. What you can do is contract those out and take a small percentage for yourself.

detailing and spray tinting. some paintwork, post paint wetsanding and buffing.

and im not cheap.

Thanks, I've been researching wetsanding for a while now, what I've seen is use 2000 grit, 3000 grit soak over night or at least 30 minutes before, and keep plenty of water on the surface, working the same way and dry periodically to see if scratches are being removed to not over sand the clear.

if u can afford dent removal, i highly recommend taking the coarse and getting the tools., a buddy of mine knows how to do dents, and makes about 200 dollars and hr. a typical dent i have seen him remove takes 15-30 minutes and ranges from 40-75 dollars. great add on service for detailing, or if your slow detailing.

I might look into this, sounds like a pretty good investment for an extra source of income for the business. Thanks!

Dustin, dent removal IS a very profitable business, but like many skilled trades, it takes years to master and become good at it. you will have to make a large commitment for a long period of time to get good at it. I sub out my dent removal to a very good dent guy. I have a tab puller kit, but found that unless the dent is the perfect size a shape, I don't get good results.

Thats what I was afraid of, Ill stick to cleaning cars, for a while, are you located in Asheville, NC?

Were I live I make a lot on rock chip repairs on windows so easy cost the customer nothing and an easy additional 50-65 bucks per window.

Yes look for windsheild repair kits and get oppinions on them. This is the next thing I plan to add on to my services is windshield repairs. I am still looking for a good kit out there though since there are so many offered.
