HCF said:I picked up powermetal polish and the powerball last weekend and gave it a try on my polished wheels. I put the polish on the wheels an some on pwrball and worked till almost gone, mf to wipe off. Worked really well and removed stains, I then used billet polish to get the bling. I washed the truck again last night used soap an water to clean wheels and applied michelin brake dust repelant, find out how well that stuff is after the weekend trip to the mountains.
Just did my polished lip wheels with the red & white Mothers. When I followed with the Michelin Brake Dust Repellant, I noticed a slight hazing of the lip after wiping it off.
It was better compared to before I polished, but definitely not as clear, and mirror like compared to prior to putting on the Repellant on the freshly polished wheels. Did you find the same?
Let me know what you find out Jesal. Im considering the Flitz or Zoop Seal so I dont have to polish these out every 2 weeks. :doh I hope they do a better job of protecting the shine.
