Ben Kenobi and Escape Girl's Excellent SEMA/Las Vegas Adventure 2006
Last week, Ben Kenobi and I , along with his wife, attended SEMA in Las Vegas. We had a great time. I thought I'd highlight our top 10 best and worst observations.
Top 10 Best Things from SEMA
10. The drifting demonstration in the track area.
9. A whole hall full of wheels and rims. How could you ever decide what you want?
8. Seeing the Overhaulin' crew working.
7. Companies and their very friendly attitude. Thanks Mike Phillips!
6. Travelling all the way to Las Vegas from Canada to meet so many Canadians!
5. Mopar Alley. Very cool cars.
4. All the samples from AAPEX. Woo hoo.
3. Meeting the inventor of Rain-X and the very cool looking microfiber products from manufacturers from China
2. The new product showcase. Can't wait to see some of them in the marketplace.
And the number one best thing from SEMA,
1. All the incredible cars we saw.
Top 10 Worst Things from SEMA
10. Trying to get to the convention centers. Buses and monorail not that convenient and you have to pay for parking if you drive.
9. Demonstrators that used paper towel to wipe off polishes and wax. Yikes!
8. All the paper you pick up sure weighs a lot by the end of the day.
7. Companies and their not so friendly attitude. (but I won't name names)
6. Trying to see everything at SEMA. Oh my aching feet!
5. The walk from the shuttle bus drop-off back to our accomodations.
4. The expensive food at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. Bring your own lunch.
3. Swirls on the cars. C'mon, this is SEMA
2. The shows only running from 9-5 pm. So much to see, so little time.
And the number one worst thing from SEMA,
1. The hour & half wait in line to get my badge. Ben was not happy about this.
