I am going to be in Las Vegas for SEMA aftermarket industry show. I was wondering if anyone has been to this show and what are the "must see's" there. Thanks in advance.

I guess it depends on why you're going and what you're into. There isn't much from the car detailing side; Megs, Mothers, Eagle One, Turtle Wax, Viking, Blue Coral, etc all have displays. But most of the mfr's we talk about here do not display at SEMA.

If you're into wheels and tires, SEMA is sensory overload. The sheer number of custom wheel mfr's is stunning. There are a bazillion custom show cars and trucks showing off the latest cool thing from the mfr's. The Big Three have large displays of concept cars as do Honda, Nissan, Toyota and a couple others. SEMA is auto aftermarket stuff (modding, customizing, etc). AAPEX is more hard parts from companies like Dana, Spicer, Eaton, Delphi, etc. So it's really two shows in one (actually like 3 or 4 with the various tire industry assn's showing as well).

Try to get your registration credentials in advance as waiting in line to register and get a badge will take hours.

I've been to SEMA several times, it's a lot of fun!!
