Sema 2007

I hear the '55s are in
Well it's about that time of year again for the big one. Is anyone going to be attending the SEMA show next week in Las Vegas? If so would really like to meet up and say hi. Should be a good show, lots of detailing supply firms are exhibiting this year. Will have a full report with some pics when I get back. :)

Still trying to go. Hotel rooms are super expensive, so I am contemplating just making a He-Man run there, hit the high points, and drive home. Would be a long day, but it is Sema. Of course it is worth it.

im planing on going. but i am making the trip from ohio.

cant wait! and i have a 03 cobra waiting for me to drive around!

So what companies are you talking about - boutique or just the industrial bulk stuff.

I'd love to go one day, shops gotta get much busier to do that though.

I won't be there, but a black '69 Camaro I worked on will be displayed in the Goodyear booth. If you should be at the show, and see Jason or Jeff from J2Speed hanging around the Goodyear booth (it's their car), tell 'em Scott says "hi".

^ I will be attending. My father works for Goodyear tires. Regional Training and development manager here on the west coast...

I can't wait to get there and check everything out. I've been thinking about purchasing some products, maybe I will just wait til' the show and pick some stuff up there!! :)

Mr Driven to Perfection is all set up over there, I placed an order but won't get it until second week in november. Gee he gets around.

Booth 13374 for those interested.

I would love to see video and pics of the SEMA show.

Hey Tort, Is this your work?

Cool Car Pictures: Photos of Exotic Cars, Sports Cars, Muscle Cars, Show Cars and more

I was looking around on the SEMA Insider website and saw a black 69 Camaro and thought it could be yours!!!!! :bigups :bigups :bigups

Ctowner,

Thanks for keeping an eye out, but that's not the one I worked on. It was completely black, deep dish chrome rims with black spokes wearing some fat Goodyear rubber. Thanks for the link to the site, though; I'll snoop around to see if I can find a picture.

Thanks again,

Tort

just leaving now, man it was fun! spent all day talking with the people from all the dtailing places.

Spent two days there. Could have spent the entire four days. It was great as usual. Spent the second day in the detail area. Lots of products but some vendors were working on painted glass and not metal. The show seems to be getting bigger and bigger every year.

My wife was supposed to go (she works in PR) but the trip got canned at the last minute. What a shame!

No problem Tort! Please let us know if they throw any pictures up on the SEMA Insider site of the car. I'll try and keep and eye out for it too. I'm sure they'll be putting more pictures up in the upcoming days.

yes. as long as you are a automotive buisness with a buisness id and w4's. but it was pretty much impossible to get tickets when you posted so i didnt reply. id register early next year.

man i got a whole poop load of stuff. xmt all in 1, p00p loads of stuff from chemical guys, and lots of conllite products #845 #476s.

Yes it was quite a show, sorry I couldn't reply as I was a bit busy while I was down there. You can still register onsite as they had a big building for it. I had good chats with Chemical Guys and PBMA and not sure how you managed to get samples as I didn't see them offering any. Didn't see any Collinite there but managed to get some good samples at AAPEX. SEMA seems more flash and AAPEX is for serious business these days. Glad everyone that went had a good time.
