Selling at a gas station

I went to fill up the car today, and in the middle of all the pumps (about 8 rows) was a table set up, and a bunch of bottles of wax on there with a huge sign saying "Fast Wax"

I kinda chuckled at the fact that this guy is probably going to come over and convince me that this is the best stuff in the world and blah, blah, blah :ranton

It got A LOT cooler here in Atlanta today, so I swiped my card and waited in the car. Just thinking now how well he did today? :dunno

Aloha Nick, Its been unbearable hear in hawaii. 90's for the past week. I've been dripping sweat all over customers cars . Maybe a bandana would work but its not my style.

So coul;d this guy be th eowners friend or son ? to set up a table and sell products he must have some connections. Nick , you could have taught him a few things I'm sure. :)

I think I have heard of FastWax before. They had many of them packaged with 2, so I'm thinking, if I remember right, it's like 2 for $25 or something like that.

P.S. You might have the nicer weather, but I hear we have some better gas prices :lmfao :angry Filled up at $1.82.....it was .06 less yesterday

Good god I was about to complain at 2.04, but I guess I will keep my mouth shut.

P.S. Nick that was me at the gas station today, I was in Atlanta visiting. Just kidding.

I've seen the FastWax people here too. I was filling up last year and was looking at a dark blue Mustang that they had parked right by the entrance next to the table they had set up and was horrified at the amount of swirls it had. Anyway, they went from one car to the next with a DIRTY towel and an aerosol can asking if they wanted a "free demonstration". I nearly fainted just watching them, rubbing the hell out of the paint with a dirty towel on a dirty car. I tried to fill up as quickly as I could so I could get out.

I've seen FastWax at Wal-Mart, so it's nothing new.

Great! Now if we could just get it to 'self-apply' we could take in a Sunday matinee. :hah
