Self Healing Paint from Nissan/Infiniti

Hey guys! Its been awhile since i been on. Study study study! I need a break. Have you guys of Nissan/Infiniti's self healing clearcoat? They said you can take a penny to the paint and scratch it up all you want and as long as its just the clearcoat. It will repair itself completely in a week. Or if you pour warm water over the affected area it should fix the scratches in a matter of minutes back to new. Its first being used on the new Infiniti EX 35. It was in Motor Trend this month and if you google "self healing paint?" you can read about it on the first link. What do you think of this new tech and should we be building our coffins? Actually, I would prefer to save up enough money to purchase an AWD G35 and take advantage of that new technology. :)

I just bought one a few months ago. It's a great car. :rockon

Back on topic . . . I just saw an EX at the New England Auto Show on Wednesday. I should have scratched it and then come back on the last day of the show to see if it "healed."
