Secret To Removing Old Window Tint

I was just wondering if anyone knew how to remove old window tint on vehicles. I know there is glue under the tint and was just wondering what the best way is to remove the tint and the glue.

1.Park the vehicle out in the sun to heat the tint.



2. Spray the tint with a dawn/water solution and cover with black

trash bags periodically peeling the bags back and respraying

the soap solution. Do this for about 20 minutes.



3. Start at the top and start peeling the tint. Do your best to

remove it in one piece.



4. Once tint film is removed respray the window with the soap

solution and let the glue residue soak for a few minutes.



5. Use a plastic razor blade to scrape the glue off.
