Second coat of Souveran

rabbi

The Whaler Loves Detail City
I put a second coat of Souveran Paste and Liquid Souveran on my car today .I like the LS over the PS better than the PS over the LS. The LS over the PS keeps the attributes of SP(depth and wetness) but adds a lot more clarity The SP over the LS darkens and wettens but it takes away some of the clarity. Either look is sweet so it's a preference thing. My dirty laundry(foam applicators, micros and wweaves) is starting to accumulate so I better wash them.

Thanks for the comparison Rabbi! I'm also doing some side by side comparison testing with LS and PS. So far, I've only applied the first coats. I plan to begin layering this week.

I have the paste on the way. I'm going to try the "spit shining" method . Seems sorta tedious but may just nullify the need for the liquid version.

In short, I will QD with cold water, in sections at a time, the already Klasse SGed surface, dont wipe but start applying the Souveran. Really take time, buff , move on to the next section. In short this technique is supposed to amplify the depth. Car should literally look like a rolling bottomless black pool! :D :D

I apologize for omitting this but I forgot to add this. The water sheeted off the LS over SP faster than the PS over LS. Also after 10 minutes of conversing with my daughter the car was almost completely dry. I usually start drying immediately after flushing(remove nozzle) the car. Yesterday I was sidetracked so I(dry it) didn't get to the car right away. There were no puddles/pools of water on the car.

Hey Bill! Please let me/us know how the "spit shine" turns out. Thank you.

I probably won't have it done for at least a week, but will check in re: the spit shining method.

I really have to say that the PINNICLE company when it comes to dark cars has a vast edge in SOUVERN then any other product I ever used.I just get that deep dark wet looking shine that makes any dark car using this wax a cut above anything else.

I completely agree. Next up for me my neighbors Black Lexus GS. Souveran baby!

Pinnacle is pricey, but awesome!

If you get a chance, we'd love to see pics (see a common thread?) :LOLOL :showpics

YES PINNICLE is pricy but with all the sales going on you really can find good deals if you keep you eyes open. The last few weeks 15%off which makes it a good deal.Iwould over pay and know that I recieved a good product then pay less and wonder what my vehicles are going to look like when I am done
