Sealant/Wax on Textured trim?

Hello, can a spray sealant such as AquaWax be used on exterior textured trim without any staining or white residue left behind? Has anyone used AW on their textured trim with good success? If not are there any sealants or waxes out there that can be used on textured trim to protect it and give it a nice sheen? I have tried the turtle wax ice but that didn't seem to last long at all. My wife has a Honda CR-V which has alot of textured trim and I want to find a sealant that can be used on it to protect it for a while rather then having to apply a trim product after every wash. thanks for the help

Sure, AW can be used that way. Any good pure wax/sealant can be used that way--SG, #16, Zaino, etc, as long as you put it on thin so it doesn't build up in the texture. The new WOWA products (Z-CS, UPGP, OS) should also be excellent, as well as the Ultima trim stuff.

I use Aqua Wax everytime I wash my 2004 Mach1, 2005 Subaru Legacy GT and 2005 Ford F250 Powerstroke 4X4. I have absolutely no problems with Aqua wax on any surface, including vinyl decals, rubber, plastic etc. Aqua Wax does not even leave any visible residue on the edges of vinyl graphics.

I will not make the same statement for other waxes or sealants.

Dont waste your Ultima PGP on trim it doesnt do anything. Id like to try the Ultima Trim stuff but its just not in the budget as I just spent $100 on 2 bottles of Menzerna.
