Sealant or Glaze

That wouldn't make sense for two reasons.



1) The glaze wouldn't be able to hide any swirls because they would be under the SG. Glazes sometimes contain cleaners too, so it would decrease the durability to the SG beneath it.



2) The later coats of SG would not bond well to the glaze.

The glaze wouldn't be to hide swirls, just to enhance the depth and wetness of the paint. How else would you do this-- what would you put on top of the SG?

Top SG with a carnauba known for wetness like Nattys or Souveran.
