Scuffed Steering Wheel

The steering wheel on my car has a couple of fake wood sections. The front of these sections are a bit scuffed (nothing too bad, just lost the shine). It looks like it was laid down on these sections prior to installation (it's OEM but not the standard wheel). Any thoughts on how I can get the plastic to polish up as new?

Well I would think that the would, or fake wood for that matter would have some kind of clear coat or protective layer on it so you could try a mild polish on it to take those out. My car has some of those fake wood sections and I used plexus on them and it worked AMAZINGLY, so you could try that too.
