Scratches on windshield!

When I bought my car, it came equipped with the 'Ignorant Package.' The woman who drove the car before me used the wipers dry, creating tons and tons of micro scratches that follow the rotation of the blades. When I ordered all of my Zaino supplies I ordered their glass polish and that didn't even budge the scratches. I used the polish with my PC set to 5 and 6, both speeds with the yellow CMA pad. Does anyone have a product I should check out? Am I doomed to buying a new windshield? Thanks!

There are a few pro quality glass polishing kits on the market. Do a net search for them. But modern auto glass is pretty soft and not easily polished so you should seriously consider a replacement windshield.

Try this search. It'll turn up several (but not overwhelmingly many) threads that may be relevant to your situation. One called Windshield Polishing recommends a Glass Polishing Kit from Eastwood Tools. I've never tried any of this myself.
