Scratches on plastic door jam panel

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can get rid of these scratches or at least make them look better? I have tried Mothers plastic cleaner/polish but didn't seem to do very much? Can I buff them out? with a DACP? Here is a pic.
 
Theres not much you can do about scratches on the plastic sill.....Thats why they put them there as opposed to leaving paint exposed....I know ya cant just get rid of them, the only way I know to hide them is to clean them real good, and treat with a plastic/vinyl dressing or simply replace them, there not that much if its a domestic, compared to import....maybe $20.00 each....
