Scratches on my roof!

I was filling up with gas tonight and I noticed that I have about a 1 square foot area where some inconsiderate person (polite word) put a package, box etc. and then dragged it off my roof!!!



I just washed my car yesterday and those marks weren't there. I finished up my holiday shopping tonight and obviously someone thought my roof made a great place to put their items while they got into their car.

Now you realize if that surface was a smooth as a baby's butt, the package may have slid " a lot farther" !!!
 
IMO... People that are that ignorant to pull s*** like that deserve the worst. I have walked out the door of the grocery store to see a stupid dumb a** lady trying to get her cart between my car and the "Island" in the parking lot... I hit the panic on my remote... wow is my horn loud... she deserved it. :lol



She was not easily going to "walk on me" by scratching the crap out of my car. That's just my opinion.



I have a respect for other's cars. I even go as far as to bring in a few carts into the store when I walk in.... That's another thing... If you don't bring your carts into the store or corrals, don't even dare b*t*h when one comes crashing into your car... you are just a contributor by leaving yours in the lot.

How deep are the scratches? I know you how clean you keep the car.



People not taking shopping carts to the cart return or back into the store is a pet peeve of mine. Partly because I hate door dings and partially because I hate retrieving the carts from the far end of the lot, I helped the cart guys at one job I had.

I like to ride the shopping carts in the lot, pick up speed and launch the cart and a Saturn...............just to see if those bendable side body panels really do work.



(ha ha) I hate parking lots..........sometimes people ding your car just because the car is clean and kept up.

I like to ride shopping carts, but do not test saturns claims.

Do it when it is cold enough and I am sure you'll shatter those panels.



But I didn't say that :)
 
Know your pain. I had the car perfect and we went to NJ for Thanksgiving and when the car was parked somebody walked by and obviously rubbed their coat sleeve over the trunk lid, must have been nylon or something, scratched the hell out of it.



People are so stupid :rolleyes:

There's truth in that. When I worked for Saturn I heard a story about a guy who brought back his new car a couple weeks after he got it. The driver's door was shattered. He let his car sit outside in the cold overnight, and the next day he had some friends over. "Hey guys, watch me kick my car's dent resistant panels..." :doh
 
True about the Saturn doors. I dated a girl once that drove an old (one of the first) Saturn 4 doors. She had several cracks in the plastic doors (it was a...........special car, I drove it 500 miles from Michigan to here, greeeeeeeeeeeeat trip). Dont see it on the newer ones so Saturn must have changed the material they use.
