I friend at work has a dark blue 2010 Hyundai Elantra.
His young daughter and a friend happened to do some damage to the hood.
I took a quick look and you can see several scratches went thru to the primer, however they are really thin.
I'd like to help him out if I could, and I know a repaint would probably be the way to go, but money is an issue.
My question is would it be better to polish out what I could and go behind with a
repair kit such as Dr. Colorchip or something, or would it be better to try the repair first and polish out later.
Would the repair have a better chance of working without the rounded edges?
Thanks in advance.
