Scratched Rim

I bought a set or Mortegi MR7 rims. Its a long story but went through hell and back with creverything.com to get the right ones. After lots of problems I wound up with 2 sets of rims for the price of one ( though you could argue I deserved them after what I went through). Anyways I have these gunmetal rims that are all scratched up when I got them cause there was no bonnet on 3 of them and they rubbed against the cardboard box during shipping. ( didn;t think cardboard could scratch like this but it seems it can) At any rate I was hoping that someone can tell me how I can get these out if it is possible. here is a picture of the damage I am describing. I want to sell them but would like to get the scratches out.

Are they clearcoated? If so, treat them just like your paint and try to polish them out. If from cardboard, the scratches are probably fairly light and can be polished out by hand with a little work. Try scratchX or some DACP, or other polish you might have on hand. If that doens't work, you may need to respray the clear.

If they are not clearcoated and are annodized, or powdercoated, I think you may need to get them refinished.
