Scratch-X

I plan on applying with a a100% terry cloth. Is this the best way???

After most of my swirls are removed ( I hope ! ) I will be using Klasse AIO. Should I skip this step and use Klasse SG???. I believe Scratch X is not a filler ,so AIO would not remove any progress I have made with Scratch X. Any truth to this???

1. Don't use a terry cloth to apply the scratch-x. there are much better options like a foam applicator pad (small round orange foam pad that you can probably get wherever you bought the scratch-x) or a microfiber towel.

2. Scratch-x is not good for getting an entire car swirl free. The little bottle it comes in doesn't communicate the fact that you would need a year and a new arm to polish a whole car using the stuff. It really is only suitable for small spot treatment in my opinion like 1 bird dropping, or a small scuff in my opinion.

3. KAIO or SG depends upon the condition of your paint and products on it. If you are applying after polishing your whole car you could use just the SG. If you have wax on the car, or light oxidation, or anything really, you'll benefit from using KAIO first. You can't layer KAIO, so you may decide that you want to use KAIO followed by SG. I think KAIO is much more useful in general so if you're only getting one I'd start with that, and there are really no drawbacks to using it if you don't intend to layer.

If you've got swirls and you want to take them out/reduce them by hand, 1Z is the way to go. One caveat - their polishes have fillers, but you're not going to want to go filler-free unless you can polish to perfection via machine anyway. I would reccomend 1z MP topped with Collinite 845iw - I used that to fix my sisters car once when my machine polishers were in storage, and it did a pretty bangup job.
