A month or two ago I was detailing my car and thought it would be a good idea to Scotch Guard the interior fabric seats ('05 Civic with grey fabric).
As I was in Wally World I went by the auto section and...no cans. Since there was an Auto Zone and Advance Auto down the road, I went in and...no cans.
One of the workers there told me there was a problem with the formulation staining fabrics, and they "got recalled."
A few weeks later I saw that Wally World had received some "new" cans.
But now I'm wondering if it's safe to use it now without discoloration?
Is there a better product I can buy in a local shop equal or better?
I'm a bit of a neat freak when it comes to my car--I don't allow eating, drinking, or smoking, so the interior is pretty spotless to start with.
