Scored a Great Deal on a GG6

His words not mine, that would be price beating not simply matching. Don't think anyone can expect miracles but it should give you peace of mind that you've done as well as you could have done with your purchases.

I don't bother buying anywhere but Autopia. The only big purchase I paid full price on was my Rupes Mini. Cause I wanted it now.....
I bought 3 open box polishers from Ray... and got some great deals on the pads and accessories.

The Griots is a decent machine.
I would call Ray first thing Monday.. let him give you a quote with everything you need.. pads, backing plates, etc.
He may email it to you if you PM him on what you want.
Then.. if it's not too late, simply try cancelling the order you made
and Ray honors the deal he gave you when you call him back.

Every day is a Ray Day!

MonRay
TuesRay
WednesRay
ThursRay
FriRay
SaturRay
SunRay

Good luck!

I prefer beating prices instead of just matching them, which we'll do 99.99% of the time. If you think you scored a great deal, you should've seen the deal you would've gotten if you pm'd me or gave us a call ;)

I don't remember ever seeing that post but it's not true. (Maybe it was on AGO?) We'll beat their prices.

I guarantee it. :)

Thanks Ray--this is good info to know!!!

He never offered me a deal- that's what I'm trying to say. He said he would have given me a better price than AAP, but does not say what that was nor if he'd match the future coupons AAP advertised and did give me. The AAP $40 off $100 online coupon I used expired yesterday (as far as I can tell), and I've been happy with AAP, so I'll let the order go through.

I'll certainly keep Autopia in mind for future purchases. But I've now got $20 off my next purchase at AAP- will Autopia now match that coupon? The rewards program here is $5 off your next purchase for every $100 spent (autopia car care), which is less than what AAP is offering. Will Ray match AAP's reward program?

Price matches are simple, first I like to make a "baseline match". So in this case, at the very least we will match the AAP exactly:

AAP Price Match............................................................................

GG6: $149.99
Match $40 off coupon: -$40
Speed perks match: -$5

Total: $104.99 (+ tax if AAP was charging you tax) + we can match the Speed Perks Reward for $20 off your next order of $40 (I would give you a one time use coupon just like AAP)

........................................................................................................

Now that we've matched the deal exactly, I like to beat their price by making the deal even sweeter for you. This is the "gray area" of the deal. We can be a little flexible with what we can do so if you're interested in picking up a 5 inch backing plate with a few pads or something else, we can bundle it together to beat the AAP deal (for example maybe instead of giving you the Speed Perks Reward Match I can give you a free backing plate and a couple pads - that's just one example). Or we can shave a few dollars off the AAP Price Match to beat their price if that works best for you. Either way I guarantee we would beat that deal. We could always negotiate over the phone, email, PM, tweet, instagramachat, Facebook, Myspace?, etc :)

I hope that gives everyone a little insight on how we approach price matches (or price beats). The gray area of the deal is what I think can really set us apart from other deals, and should give everyone the incentive to check with us first; before pulling the trigger on a deal.

I would love to see a special Ray deal out here today..
How about finding two or three items Autipia is looking to move.... put them in a $25 or so package deal shipped to the door.
One could be the Klasse damaged bottles. maybe?

Autopia will beat anyone anytime!

How do I know, I've spent well over 2000+ with them from my masterblaster 8hp to every single Blackfire product. Call ray direct, you will get the best deals! I'm always a deal hunter and Ray always matches + beats what ever I throw at him.

Thanks for the detailed response- that's the info I was looking for. It's too late now for my GG6 (already shipped first thing this morning), but I'll give you a fair chance at my business for my next detailing transaction.

Already sold out of those :)

But keep an eye on the eBay store tomorrow. You should see some great deals on open box P21S waxes and BLACKFIRE BlackIce.

Ever think about doing a mystery box? As in add this $25 box to your cart and you're guaranteed to get at least $25 worth of merchandise but with a twist that means some people will get a high-end wax, polisher, gift card. Etc.

But keep an eye on the eBay store tomorrow. You should see some great deals on open box P21S waxes and BLACKFIRE BlackIce.

It's awesome you guys are doing this. Total win-win.

I second the mystery box idea.

I know that exposure is everything when it comes to selling product and that eBay provides that. That said, I personally would rather see the specials on this site rather than eBay. At the very least both sites. I just don't visit eBay or for that matter FaceBook.
