All About The Bling Bling
Did this scion over a few days this week. It was the delivery vehicle at my dads print shop. So it took some abuse. He bought one of the new scion xb's so this one had to be cleaned up for sale.

Took about 2 hours to remove all the stickers, in the process i installed a few scuffs and minor scratches.

Process for the paint was.

Cut a few bad spots with a wool pad and hi-temp 357 heavy cut, at about 1800 rpm.

Since it was going out for sale i didn't need to worry about making it perfect. So i went with a all in one product.

White magic from auto magic.

I used my dynabrade air da for this, and a light cut/polishing pad. I didn't expect it to work as good as it did. I'd say it removed/filled in about 85% of the defects.

After this i topped it with a coat of automagic paste for a little more shine.

Pics.

Don't mind the tape, neither side has been polished yet.

I am with you on that one. I use to think they were so ugly, they have really grown on me though. I actually like them now.

Great work on the sticker removal.

Great job on the decal removal.

I still don't like them, however I recently saw a newer model (I guess 2008) and they rounded the corners and it looks a little nicer.

The other day I saw one that had the text "Shoebox" in big white letters at the top of the windshield, thought that was clever.

I am still not a big fan of them, a little to boxey for me, but regardless, excellent work, some nice reflection shots!!!

I go through alot of fleet vehicles thats is going into auction and the owner wants the decal remove. I can do a estimate 4 hour worth of decal removal in 30 mins. You might want to try this but becareful.

The vehicle looks fairly new so the decal should come off easy. Try using a high hot (if equipped) pressure washer to remove the decal .And watch your wand distance. Get close untill you can see the decal pealing back. If you get too close, you'll also removed the paint :yikes: Once you can get a good edge on the larger decal, you can peal most of them off.

I hate removing vinyl !!! You did an outstanding job.

Hi-Temps 357 is such a great product. Glad to see I am not the only one who uses AM's EZ Paste.
