this is my girlfriend's car. as you can see she really doesn't care much about her poor car...



well she went out of town for the week so i decided to surprise her!

well... just to say, this car was DISGUSTING on the inside! once i took everything out, there were soda stains and just random stains all in the carpets.



so i took out all the floor mats, and let them soak in CG Lightning fast for about 10 minutes. then scrubbed them with a brush, and rinsed (2 times) and extracted the water with my Wet/Dry.



basically the same for the interior carpets, except i used water in a spray bottle to rinse. also i used some simple green and P21s TAW on stubborn stains.



and i used the CG leather cleaner on all the leather parts and dash.

looks like a completely different car! i was surprised that it came out so good!

Does she actually still use her cassette player? In all honesty, I thought those were a thing of the past. I saw the cassette in on of the before pics, and it was out in the after pics.
 
Great turn around, I'm sure she'll be happy. But, if she's anything like mine, it will look like that again in a week.
 
Wow that was disgusting. I hate doing interior work but the pictures do come out nice when you do. How do you like the 5hp ridgid? I was about to buy that one but I thought the tank capacity wasn't big enough so I picked up the 5.5gallon 2.5hp one.

i like it a lot! the tank does fill up fast, but the 5hp is real nice!
