Ahh! So gorgeous - I love these new 3-series, the insane 335i in particular!

Great job on bringing it back.

BTW, I hope you don't mind if I ask you a quick question. Have you noticed an extremely disturbing amount of orange peel on these new BMWs? I do valet and see quite a few - and noticed a very unsettling amount of orange peel on this 330i convertible (the jet black color) I drove, as well as several other current model year BMWs I see every day.

I also notice it in your pics. Is it just me, or have you noticed this as well?

I mean, IMO it looks so bad sometimes that I almost thought there was some major repainting done to cover something up, but it must come like this from the factory! :shocked

Such as this pic of yours - great work on your part, but look at that orange peel!! :help: (for those of you who think maybe I'm overreacting, it tends to look worse in person)

yea, i know what you mean. i own one myself, in jet black

IMG_1615.jpg

and it really does have a lot of orange peel. however mine is not nearly as bad as this car was...

Damn.

That is one sweet E90, I sure do miss my 06 330!

Is that a 330 or a 335?

Btw, awesome job on that E92, Montego is just such a hot color, and with that interior, its pure sex!

Which body shop are you planning on taking it to? I can give you a referral to a shop that does incredible work.

Very nice.. I love the color

yea, the montego blue is a beautiful color, especially in the sun!

In one of the first photos, the close-up of the wheel, is a part of the brake caliper missing? Maybe it was just the cover. Beautiful job on the car. Just hope his brakes are OK. :)

no , that is the way the 335i brakes are when they get wet, a small part on the caliper rusts just like the disc does...

This is kinda off topic but since your a BMW guy you might know the answer. Will those awesome 335 wheels fit on a 330 or an M3?
