arrived at 9:30 AM, left at 10:30PM

thanks for looking!! :cool!:

Great job. The Carrera's are one of my favorite cars. My cousin has an 02' 996 in Guards Red. It looks perfect. This one looks even better. Nice job.

Do you have any problem following SIP with 85RD? I have never tried that big of a jump and have always used 106FF in-between, but it looks like you get great results going straight to 85RD. Looks great btw...

Great job! How did you end up at a fire station?

haha, the owner of the car was a paramedic.

and i didn't have any problem with going to 85RD after SIP. as long as i finished the SIP very lightly (almost lifting the buffer off the surface) and worked the 85rd for a good while i had no problems.

Looks fantastic. Like someone already said, that bumper shot is unreal.

One thing...And the owner may have requested it, and it's ALL ABOUT personal preference, but to me the tires look a little too greasy for my taste. Again, nothing wrong it.

Nicely done.

What was the story on the swirls? Automatic carwashes? Washing with gravel? :)

washing the wheels with the same mitt as the paint :nervous2:

awesome job! I was just wondering what the cg water spot remover is never seen it before?

it's a fluid that smells like rotten eggs. you mix it in the wash or apply it directly and it takes care of the calcium deposits. :thx

canon rebel XTi. with the stock lens.

the look wet, but not greasy. thats what i love about meg's HD, it's dry to the touch!

I just looked at the pics again on my laptop at home...The tires look much better on this screen. I retract my previous statement. Very nice indeed.

I had to look at the hood shot again....Unreal.

That medic is putting in WAY to many hours with a car like that! Some of those guys work themselves to death.

Anyway, I'm an EMS officer at my firehouse, so it's where i do my personal detailing because they're just awesome as detail workshops. Huge air conditioned bays with electric and compressed air from the ceiling, big overhead lighting which is perfect for checking your progress (and huge halogen scene lighting on the adjacent trucks for checking the sides).

I did my sisters car in our engine bay, 8 hours of paint correction. I had no less than a half dozen medics i work with who passed through during that time ask me what i would charge for their cars, so i'm thinking once i get a few more cars done and get my skills up to my personal high standards (everyone else seems to be impressed already) i'll have a little work on the side.

Make sure you show those guys how to wash their cars properly. Guys at my firehouse always get theirs when they wash the trucks with the cringe worthy one-bucket-brush-on-a-stick method. Swirl city.
