well i am new to the forums and glad i found your site! anyways, i have some n00b questions. I am entering my car into HIN @ chicago this weekend and have already applied a coat of zymol cleaner wax to my black s4. It looks great but i want more depth and was going to put a coat of mcguiars gold on top, is there anything i should be concerned about layering those two different types of waxs together.

Hiya and welcome! Gold Class has some cleaner in it as well so you won't get much layering - if you want an off the shelf topper try mother's pure carnuba - not the cleaner.

thanks! yeah that was some seriously fun ****! unfortunatly i also now know how hard it was on my ride so unless i get another quattro winter ride that wont be happening again. (i am looking for an early 90s coupe quattro for my winter/rally ride, i want to drop a built 20v5cyl turbo in it and some blizzaks) :headbang
