Saying Hi From NJ

FRODRICK!!!
hey guys,

just wanted to introduce myself. i'm mike from nj and this place seems very cool. i've been detailing for the past 5-6 years (mostly just a hobby). i'm always up for learning new tricks and tips and hopefully i can share some of my knowledge as well.

i currently own a 2000 bmw m coupe. i just bought this car a little over 2 months ago and i have yet to find time to REALLY detail it. if you guys are like me, you know that i'm going out of my mind as a result. i can't wait to really find a good weekend to "go to town," on her.

see you guys around.

Welcome to DC! I'm sure you'll find that the members are very helpful here. You've definately come to the right place to learn new tips and tricks. Your best bet for learning would be to read every thread that you can. It will take a while, but you will benefit from it. When you find some time to wash the M up, make sure you post some pictures of it.

Welcome to DC! :) I love your avatar! That's surely one of the funniest movies ever made! :)

haha- thanks. it's a classic. old mel brooks movies just can't be beat, just so many choice lines.

here are pics of the coupe now. i just had enough time for the following:

meg. gold class wash
griott's speed shine/clay
klasse aio with pc - orange pad
s100 paste wax

not the best procedure, but i was limited on time. *not to mention the coupe needs work (respray front bumper, wheel finish is flaking off, etc).
