Saying Hi From Las Vegas! Doing First Detail Today.

Just stopping by to say hello. I will be doing my first full detail on my 05 carbon black M3 today and I hope all goes well. Why can't I see the pictures of how much PB SSR 2.5 to use thread? Here are the products im going to use for my detail.

Wash
4 star clay
SSR 2.5 2.0 1.0
Klasse AIo
PB EX-P
PB Natty's Blue
FK #425
 
I am guessing that the photos have some how been corrupted. I noticed this the other day when I was reviewing the post.

Looks like you are really going to go to it with this detail. Be sure to post pic's. Everyone on the forum(me) enjoys pictures.

Welcome to the site but there should be no reason for SSR 2.5 and 2 on a new car like that even black....just wondering why you are doing all that?
 
Yeah, unless the paint is swirled pretty heavily I would only suggest using SSR1 at first. If that doesn't take care of it, then move up to a higher abrasive. Good luck with the detail and make sure to take plenty of pictures.

I agree with the others, unless your M3 is pretty swirled up the SSR 2.5 might be over kill. Go with the least aggressive combo first, start with the SSR1 or maybe even the SSR2 before you jump into the SSR2.5
