hey, i purchased Menzerna Advanced Swirl Removal Kit this week and was going to make that my project today but due to the weather i only did part of the truck. i washed the whole truck with BF car wash. i then clay bared the hood and applied menzerna intensive polish to the whole hood and both front fenders. i then buffed it off with a microfiber towel. i skipped the final polish II (probably not a smart thing) and applied meguiars polymer sealant which is sitting on the parts that have been clayed and polished.

i dont have before pix of the swirls b/c it has been cloudy most of the week and i have not been able to get a good shot of the swirls, after i buff off the sealant ill try and get some pix if its not raining.

Very nice. I've gotten away with using IP with a white pad as a one stepper before on red. The haze is surprisingly hard to see in most situations, except under full sun.:D

Nice! Nice ride too! Here is my wife's (bad pic..but all I have handy...it's from about 5 min after picking it up from the dealer haha. I wanted black..she wanted white)

ok guys, now i need some help!

today was the first day i was able to actually look at the truck close up to see if the swirls were gone, but they are still there, they are deff not as "pronounced" as they were but they are still there. what do you recommend? a more intense polish, or maybe use the intense polish a little longer, higher RPM and more pressure?

Maybe moving up to SIP with a orange pad or going the M105 route with a wool pad or maybe going the KBM way!

One of these days (in the process of selling house, moving out of state, and planning an international trip... not to mention wife's graduation AND birthday are shortly approaching LOL) I want to do a write-up on my first attempt at correcting the many and varied defects I've sadly let this car acquire
