SAT's result in Jaw Dropping detail!

There is no cure!
As most of the country, a lot of highschoolers probably got their SAT scores along with their FCAT ( for those florida residents).

Sister came home with a top 90% on her FCAT subjects and a 1380 on her SAT's. She still insist on retaking it as she felt she can do better.

Heck my SAT's were barely 1350.

Anyway, in regards to her good grades, parents decided on rewarding her with a new car for her senior year next year.

Well here it is. A 2006 Audi A4 2.0t. Not sure about the color, but the car has "S Line" Package along with Titanium package (thanks to me :)).

The car was not touched at all by the dealer. Not one rag was used on it. Dealer was a little shocked when me and my parents requested to even leave the plastic on the interior on but followed instructions perfectly.

Unfortunately due to having details booked the poor thing has been unwashed from delivery till yesterday.

I decided this color was soo vibrant an deserved NXT. I really wanna see the durabilty of NXT, since when I used it, I used the original formula.

Process:

GC wash
FK1 Step #1 of Deco Kit
Meguiars Clay
Menzerna FPII Finishing pad via Rotory 1200rpms
NXT Tech wax (liquid)

I felt the tires needed something glossy to contrast a bit with the gun metals wheels. Hit them with a new combo I made up that really has been pleasing me both look and durabilty wise.

I apply NXT Insane shine or Hot Shine Aerosal Spray. Let sit for 15 minutes. Then follow with Mothers FX tire dressing with tire swipe. It really evens out the shines of NXT, takes away slinging, and tones down the acrylic looking gloss. I have been doing this for about 2-3 weeks and tires stay blacker a lot longer.

This also works with Spray dressings like Eagle One Wet, ect.

Interior was pretty flawless, it just had shoe scuffs and a couple small things that needed cleaning.

Leather and Vinyl received Eagle One Nano Protectant.

Wheels were protected with Mothers FX Spray Wax.

Nice job and congrats to sis! As foreign cars go I've always liked the look of Audi but those rims are seriously ugly! Is it the camera or are they actually grey?

Congrats to the sis.

Love the Audi, but still undecided on the entire "Titanium Package".

Paint looks DYNAMITE!

They're gunmetal... Its personal taste but gunmetal is actually a very nice color that gives a more aggresive look to the car. But like I said, its personal taste.

I liked the whole titanium package because it blacked out the front grillm the window moldings and pillars, interior trim, and came with the wheels.

She likes them as she is in highschool and its more of a youth look.

If I did have to choose though between the stock "s-line" wheels or the titanium gunmetal wheels I'd be left undecided. Both look great.

Nice ride. That color is cool. As far as NXT goes, I really like the stuff. It really excels on blues. NXT is probably one of my favorite products out there.

By the way. I forgot to mention I used a tripod in taking my pictures. That has to be one of the best inventions ever that I never took a look at. By just adjusting a leg I can aim my camera a million ways and really makes my pictures come out a lot clearer.

Fantastic paint flake! Looks *really* sharp.

I'm a huge fan of the EO Nano Protectant. Nice light cleaning action coupled with a fresh scent and matte finish when buffed down. It's great because you can go over leather with it too. A perfect one product solution for the entire interior.

Congrats to your sister - job well done.

That is an interesting (in a good way) looking little car. I drove along side a silver this afternoon on the way back from lunch. The only distraction for me is that front fascia. VW's new GTI has a similar look and it just doesn't appeal to me.

That color of blue, as rendered on my monitor, is really sharp.

Though I'm not a big fan of flashy chrome wheels, I think that wheel in chrome would really set that blue off.

Interesting notes on the EO protectant. I might have to pick some up to give it a try along with the Mother's Reflections (if I can ever find it).

That is very generous of your parents. I hope she truly appreciates the gift. Luckily she has you to keep the vehicle's physical appearance in top shape.

Wow, if I got good sat scores I would probably get dairy queen lol. Big congrats to your sister on the big achievement. The detail looks excellent. Your getting a nice pallet of vehicles to maintain now! Im sure you already went over the rules of a detailed car, and if not, now is the time.

Eagle One Nano Protectant is my favorite Interior product for now. Little to no gloss for interiors. Thats how the product left it without any buffing, and thats with flash on.

NXT really amazed me though. Such a well distributed product but barely any hype.

I know durabilty for some can be an issue (not saying its not durable as the new formula is aimed to satisfy it), but just as souveran wax is used just for looks on a non metalic black or red, one would think NXT is the product of choice for metallics.

My sister has always been quite the over achiever and although I think the car was a bit too much, I'm really proud of her.

She read this thread and all the replys and she says thank you to you all.

Also forgot to mention, she makes a killer lemonade during hot, humid details.

Really nice, there is some money into that car!!

Good job to your sister...she got higher then me on her SAT's for sure.

Nice work and awesome car! I love the color combo and those graphite wheels. Looks like a DTM car.

BTW, The Collection is my personal Mecca. :D
