Satellite Blue VW Beetle

I had time to work on my girlfriends Beetle earlier this week. It is a special edition Satellite Blue VW Beetle. I think 1200 were made but I'm not positive on that number. Anyways, it was pretty swirled and needed a good vacuuming.



The process was pretty basic as I was under a time constraint. Wash, clay, #83 with a SONUS green pad, #26 to top it off. The wheels recieved a nice massage with some Meg's High Endurance gloss and the interior recieved a solid vacuuming and wipe down.

The wheels are nice touch. Not too subtle, not too obvious.

Looks nice and wet too, but #26 is hardly the best wax for showing off flake.

Looks great to me! I agree with RickRack, the paint is very deep and wet looking.

I think the paint is a couple shades too lite, but I think the detail is top notch.
