My mom's car ('99 Honda Prelude) has some marrs on the wheels from taking it through the carwash awhile back
. I am planning on sanding the wheels down starting with 80 grit paper, then working my way up to 2000, then using some sort of polishing compounds and polish like crazy for a couple hours. My question is this, can I paint a clearcoat over the compounds that I used to make the wheel shiny and the wheels on the car look like the one below (see how they aren't really shiny), would doing all of this to the wheels make them mirror shiny??? Any way I could get them to look like the one's posted below after sanding? Thanks
